Putting it all together…

Computer runs audio software which can run automated 24/7/365

Run that computer into dedicated webcasting computer.  Our bit rate is 128.  If it’s a NCE FM, run output from Optimod 8500 to Lexicon Lambda usb audio device, then into webcasting computer.

Run webcasting computer through high speed cable modem to company like Live365.com

Have link on school district website and create radio station website with link

Publicize the heck out of the fact that station can be heard online

Difference between NCE FM and internet station

On an internet station, one “f” word that “airs” gets an “Oops!”

On a Non-commercial Educational FM station, one “f” words gets a potential $325,000 FCC fine.  If the “f” word is in the chorus of the song, it becomes a story problem: 4 X $325,000 = $1,300,000 fine
